The German Patent Attorneys of df-mp.tech are registered at the German Patent and Trademark Office and are members of the German Patent Attorneys Association (Patentanwaltskammer). The German Attorneys-at-law of df-mp.tech are admitted under the law of the Federal Republic of Germany and are members of the Rechtsanwaltskammer for the Higher Regional Court district of Munich. They are subject to: Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung (BRAO), Berufsordnung (BORA), Fachanwaltsordnung (FAO), Rechtsanwaltsvergütungsgesetz (RVG) and the Code of Conduct for European Lawyers (CCBE). What is it about?
This privacy policy fulfils the legal requirements for transparency in the processing of personal data. Provision of the website
When you access and use our website, we collect the personal data that your browser automatically transmits to our server (IP address, date and time of access, name and URL of the retrieved file, referrer URL, browser used and, if applicable, operating system, and the name of your access provider). This data is temporarily stored in a log file. Our website is not hosted by us but by STRATO AG (Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany), which processes the aforementioned data on our behalf pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in displaying and securing the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log file data is stored for a maximum of 7 days for technical reasons.
Contact
When you contact us (e.g. by email), personal data is collected. When you contact us, your data is not passed on to third parties. Processing is carried out for the purpose of communicating and handling your enquiry on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or, where your enquiry relates to a contractual relationship, for contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We store the collected data for a period of three years from the completion of your enquiry or the end of the contractual relationship, or until you withdraw your consent.
Applications
We collect and process the personal data of applicants who send us application documents, e.g. by email. The legal basis is primarily Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 BDSG (initiation of an employment relationship). Applicant data is deleted after 6 months in the event of rejection; if you consent to further storage, we transfer your data to our applicant pool, where it is deleted after 24 months.
Presence on social media platforms (LinkedIn)
We maintain a company profile on LinkedIn in order to provide information and offers and to offer further ways to contact us. LinkedIn is a social network operated by LinkedIn Inc., Sunnyvale, California, USA. We collect your data via our profile only to enable communication and interaction (generally your name, message and comment content and the profile information you provide „publicly“), on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or your consent (Art. 6(1)(a), Art. 7 GDPR). We are jointly responsible with LinkedIn for the personal content of our company profile; data subject rights can be asserted with LinkedIn and with us.
